Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Julia Robbins (Kim Delaney) is an independent woman who picks up a hitch-hiker (Miles O’Keeffe) and has a one night stand which he then wants to make into something more permanent, despite her objections.
Featured Feline: Julia owns a gray cat named Steve. We first see Steve when she comes home from her trip and the cat meets her when she walks into her apartment, which is filled with sparse decor and cacti.
She picks up Steve and pets him while he purrs.
Later after a scare Julia runs home and huddles by the door. Steve walks up to her and she picks up the cat and holds him.
Still later Julia comes home with some fish she plans to cook for her friend for dinner. Steve gets up on the counter and goes right for the fish.
After a shock, Julia goes to stay with her boyfriend Arthur (Timothy Bottoms). She takes Steve with her and he is seen in the car.
Julia carries Steve into the house and sets him down. Steve is not seen again after this.
Final Mewsings: Steve was probably relieved to move somewhere with less cacti!
