Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Chicago gangster Sam Dunleavy (George Mathews) looks for a fool-proof alibi as he plans to kill his unfaithful girlfriend.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In the opening scene we see a Siamese cat eyeing a canary in a cage.
Dunleavy enters the room and scolds the cat, whose name is Schultz, for planning to knock off Edgar the canary who is already in stir.
Later Dunleavy retrieves a pistol named Suzy from underneath Edgar’s cage and assures the bird the gun isn’t going to hurt him. Dunleavy then assures Schultz the cat that Suzy isn’t going to hurt him, either.
Final Mewsings: This may be the first Siamese in history to be named Schultz!
