Synopsis: Newsreel footage tours the home of the eccentric Miss Dorette Collier of Melbourne, Australia, a self-proclaimed psychic with a sizable collection of antiques and snakes.

Reality Cats: The film crew and the narrator (who was not likely on site) is greeted at the door by Miss Collier who is holding a long-haired tabby cat.

She continues to hold the cat as she gives the camera a tour of her Chinese collectibles. When asked if she is worried about burglars, Miss Collier answers while holding the cat.

This is when things take a frightening turn. The woman reveals numerous snakes living in the home. What’s especially insane is the fact that she has cats and dogs co-habitating with the snakes and even playing with them.

The snakes are good-sized constrictors and would be perfectly capable of killing the small cats and dogs which are allowed to be so close.
