Synopsis: An officer in Napoleon’s army named d’Hubert (Keith Carradine) finds himself embroiled in a decades-long series of duels with Feraud (Harvey Keitel), a man who will not stop challenging him until he has achieved satisfaction.

Kitty Cameo: In one early scene Feraud is seen arm wrestling in a tent with another soldier.  A man is lying in front of them with a small kitten on his chest.

When Feraud finishes he walks over to the man and takes the kitten from him, asking if he knows d’Hubert.  The man says he does.

Feraud holds the kitten as he infers he wants the man to ask d’Hubert to duel again with him.

Final Mewsings: Kittens stay out of squabbles between men.
