Original Title: Finalmente le mille e una notte
Directed by: Antonio Margheriti
Synopsis: A saucy Italian take on The 1001 Arabian Nights finds an impotent Sultan (Remo Capitani) hearing a series of sexy tales related by various subjects in order to inspire his manhood to return.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): During one story, Aladdin (Gino Milli) becomes invisible and infiltrates the bedroom of Mariam (Barbara Bouchet) to make love to her. Her attending eunuch enters the room and Aladdin runs, knocking over a table. Seeing the eunuch is confused by the table falling over by an unseen force, Miriam quickly puts the blame on her longhair grey kitten who is snacking while sitting upon a tuffet in the corner (the food pieces are only present in the long shot, not the close up).
Miriam gathers up the kitten and scolds him for the accident, saying her husband will snip the kitty if he’s not careful. The eunuch looks understandably taken aback by this threat.
Eventually Miriam hands the kitten to the eunuch who says he will lock the animal up (maybe for the cat’s own protection?)
Final Mewsings: Kittens and eunuchs understand one another.
