Synopsis: Frustrated with just being one of 101, Dalmatian puppy Patch accidentally finds himself separated from his family but comes across his television hero Thunderbolt (Barry Bostwick) who has just learned he is being written out of his own show.
Cartoon Cat: After finding out that he is to be written out of his own show, Thunderbolt enlists his number one fan, Patch, to help him get publicity to rebuild his image. They are in a park when Thunderbolt sees a cat in a tree. He thinks the cat is stuck in the tree but in actuality the cat is creeping up on a nest of baby birds.
Thunderbolt panics, not having a script to work from, but Patch explains how his canine hero saved the day in an episode of the series. Thunderbolt sets up a similar conveyence to launch himself at the tree just as the cat is about to strike.
Thunderbolt knocks the branch out from beneath the cat, who falls to the ground. The cat is relieved when he lands on his feet.
Moments later Thunderbolt lands on top of him.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t need any help from television star dogs!
