Synopsis: Bill Allen (William Gargan) is a newsreel cameraman who falls for reporter Jane Mallory (Frances Dee), not knowing that she is already engaged to another man (Ralph Bellamy).

Kitty Cameos: At one point in the story Bill gets a tip that a woman known as the Basket Murderess (Mary MacLaren) is being taken from jail to the insane asylum.  Bill goes to film the story, along with several other newsreel photographers.  The society-looking woman is being led from the jail and is carrying two gray and white cats.

One of the cats is quite a bit smaller than the other and is barely noticable.  The murderess screams and cries in a high-pitched voice, “Not my cat!” and “I want my cat!” as she is loaded into the wagon.

One of the other newsreel men named Mike (Wallace Ford) comments about how she carved up a couple of boyfriends but makes all that rumpus about cats.
