Synopsis: Craig Schwartz (John Cusack) is an eccentric puppeteer whose life changes when he discovers a portal that leads to the inside of John Malkovich’s head.

Purr Blurs: Craig’s wife Lotte (Cameron Diaz) works in a pet store. One scene opens with her placing a Russian Blue kitten inside a cage.

Lotte also owns several animals at home, including a cat. The cat is seen, mostly out of focus, in the background of several scenes.

Final Mewsings: Cats are happy just being themselves.
