Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Popular Harrisburg weatherman Russ Richards (John Travolta) finds himself in growing financial trouble and agrees to a scheme to rig the Pennsylvania State Lottery with Crystal (Lisa Kudrow), the station’s lottery number announcer.
Kitty Cameo: Crystal owns a white Angora cat which is seen in one scene at her home.
She is talking with Russ about who to trust to cash in the winning lottery ticket. During the course of their conversation she suggests a guy who works at the racetrack who once bought her a really expensive parrot. Then she adds, “I dunno, my cat bit its head off.”
She leans down and says to the cat, “‘Cause you hated that f***ing bird, didn’t you?”
Final Mewsings: The cat must be a Jimmy Buffet fan if it likes parrot heads.
