Synopsis: John Haven (Dick Powell) is a U.S. Army Intelligence Investigator working undercover in a mining town to find the culprits behind a gold shipment robbery.

Kitty Cameo: The hotel clerk (Burl Ives) where Haven is staying is seen feeding a tabby cat from a saucer as a scene opens.

He picks up the cat and sets it down as Haven approaches.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t like it when undercover investigators interrupt their meal.
