Synopsis: Liliom (Charles Boyer) is a self-involved carousel barker who finds himself in the position of having to amend his ways or face the dire consequences.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): In one scene Liliom has just learned that his love, Julie, is going to have a baby. A black cat then enters the yard.

Liliom jumps up and excitedly chases the cat all around the yard.
