Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The crew rescue a transient with a mattress stuffed full of money and a bride who faints at her wedding.
Kitty Cameo: In one segment the squad is called out to help a woman with breathing problems. When they arrive, the elderly woman Mrs. Evans (Elizabeth Kerr) is clearly no stranger to them. They are combing the yard looking for her lost cat Simba whom she is so worried about she has been hyperventilating. Chet (Tim Donnelly) is the first one to spot the large yellow and orange tabby under a bush.
John (Randolph Mantooth) then steps in and coaxes Simba out of hiding, carrying him back over to Mrs. Evans. At this point Simba looks as if he wish the firemen would rescue him!
The crew tries to impress upon Mrs. Evans to keep Simba indoors or not worry about him so much, but she is just happy to have Simba back, so the paramedics and firemen leave her to her cat.
Final Mewsings: Cats are embarrassed when their owners make frivolous emergency calls.
