Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A man stumbles into a town not knowing who he is or where he is from and then he turns into a werewolf and attacks people.
Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): The implausible story behind how the man became a werewolf involves an out-of-town scientist named Dr. Morgan Chambers (George Lynn) and his assistant Dr. Emery Forrest (S. John Launer). Dr. Chambers has some bizarre theory about how the radiation from bombs will mutate humans into monsters but that they can inoculate a few with a serum to make them immune. So he has turned some poor guy who was in a car crash into a werewolf to test his theories. However, the doctor has a whole bunch of different animals in cages, including two tabby cats. These cages are way too small for these animals and none of them are happy, especially a poor German Shepherd.
As Dr. Chambers explains his lengthy theory, he gives some pieces of meat to the cats who reach through the bars of their cages to get the food.
Unfortunately the second cat drops the food and the doctor turns away without noticing.
Final Mewsings: The only thing scarier than a werewolf is an angry cat in a cage who didn’t get fed!
