Synopsis: A missionary named Rose (Katharine Hepburn) and a riverboat captain named Charlie (Humphrey Bogart) become unlikely conspirators determined to destroy a German ship during World War I.

Purr Blur (with Kitty Carnage Warning!): When the ship is finally torpedoed, its crew scrambles for safety. One man throws a tabby cat overboard, presumably to save it.
