Synopsis: Newsreel footage features cats and kittens at the Paddington Cat Show in London.
Reality Cats: The segment starts with some blue Persian kittens in a basket trying to climb out.
A variety of cats are shown in close up.
A Siamese cat struggles in its owner’s arms as the narrator says, “A Siamese snob, am I? Just you let me get out of here!”
Another cat being held has the narrator saying, “Don’t you think these common cats are a disgrace to our set?”
A long-haired tabby jerks while being held. The narrator says, “Hello? Is that a mouse I hear?”
Reverse footage of the basket kittens is shown as the narrator finishes with, “Well, we better get back now. There’s fish for supper!”
Final Mewsings: Cats are not as catty as narrators.
