Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: A group of travelers are stranded in a Central American jungle after their plane crashes.
Kitty Cameo: Before the fated flight, a tough guy named Pete (Allen Jenkins) is sitting with a boy named Tommy Mulvaney (Casey Johnson). The boy hears a black cat nearby and says, “Look, it’s a kitty!”
The black cat gets up and walks across the patio where it is noticed by a man named Vasquez (Joseph Calleia) who points it out to his companion Crimp (John Carradine) as an ill omen. “You’re not going to have the best of luck!” Crimp comments. “But this cat crossed in front of both of us, my friend,” Vasquez points out.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t sabotage airplanes.
