Synopsis: Retired mob accountant Eddie Rico (Richard Conte) is drawn back into the fold when his brothers are threatened.

Purr Blur: Near the end of the film, Eddie is trying to get back to his mother’s apartment. As he sneaks behind some stairs, a longhair cat runs down them with a meow and disappears.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t hang around when the mob is involved.
