Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Susan (Sherry E. DeBoer) and Lee (Michael Blodgett) are a young couple who are invited to a desert retreat by a mysterious woman named Diane (Celeste Yarnall). And what they don’t know about Diane may hurt them!
Kitty Cameo: Even though cats are used as metaphors and excuses a few times, an actual cat doesn’t show up until the very last scene. Susan is rescued by Carl (Gene Shane), the art gallery owner who introduced her to Diane at the beginning of the film. Carl is sitting in a chair and playing with the ear of a longhair ginger tabby cat with white paws.
Susan is sleeping in the chair across from him. When she wakes up, Carl sets down the cat who saunters away.
Final Mewsings: Cats aren’t as ignorant about vampires as young couples.
