Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Penny Justin (Peggy Evans) and Molly James (an almost unrecognizable brunette Diana Dors) are flatmates. Penny is an artist’s model, who spends a significant amount of time in her underclothes and other revealing garments. She models for sleek and saturnine Jonathan Blair (a startlingly young but very recognizable Christopher Lee), who churns out a comic strip that provides a clue to the mystery being investigated by Molly’s boss, diligent but not particularly brilliant Detective Inspector Michael Carson (Ralph Michael) of Scotland Yard.

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): While the girls are at breakfast in their flat, Penny’s tuxedo cat shares the table, although the cat isn’t visible until Penny gets up to answer the phone.

After Molly takes the call, the cat hops off the table.

In a later scene, the cat is lounging with Penny in bed, on top of the bedspread.

As Penny leaves the bed, she completely covers her cat with the spread.

Final Mewsings: You can’t prevent a cat from stealing a scene by covering them up!
