This review contains a Kitty Carnage Warning!
Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Detective Jo Dee Fostar (Billy Zane) enlists advice from serial killer Dr. Animal Cannibal Pizza (Dom DeLuise) in this spoof of crime thrillers.
Cartoon Cat: There is a childish drawing of a cat on Dr. Animal’s cell wall.
Kitty Cameo: Back in his office, Fostar is working on a letter with a longhair white cat beside him on the desk.
Fostar turns to the cat (which is now a stuffed fake) and pets him, saying gently, “Rover, how many times have a told you? Come on, now you know. There’s no sitting on the table.”
Kitty Carnage Warning! With that Fostar tosses the fake cat across the room into the electric fan. A quick shot is inserted of the fake cat having its fur caught in the machine.
The real cat then leaps down, knocking the fan to the floor.
The head animal trainer on the film was Brian McMillan.
Final Mewsings: All hell breaks loose when the kit hits the fan.
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the cat in this film!
