Synopsis: Popeye Doyle (Gene Hackman) travels to France to continue his pursuit of drug smuggler Alain Charnier (Fernando Rey).

Purr Blur: After chasing down a suspect and being forced to release him, the man is immediately murdered on the street. As the man falls to the ground a tabby cat ducks into a nearby sewer.

Final Mewsings: Cats do what they can to avoid being called as material witnesses.
