Synopsis: In this episode of the New Zealand police drama, senior detective Mike Shepherd (Neill Rea), and subordinates Kristin Sims (Fern Sutherland), and Daniel Chalmers (Jarod Rawiri) must determine who wanted a veterinary nurse dead, with the answer seemingly tied to simmering tensions between the twin sisters with whom the victim worked.
Kitty Cameos: As the team start to investigate the Brokenwood Veterinary Clinic the practice’s website is seen on a computer including a photo of a cat on the home page.
As the detectives arrive at the clinic to start questioning the staff, senior vet Craig Tilman (Will Wallace) is placing a cat carrier containing a fluffy longhair black and white cat on the counter as he instructs receptionist Brianna (Phoenix Connolly) to book a return appointment in a fortnight.
Final Mewsings: Cats would rather be going to the dogs than going to the vet!
