The F.B.I. – “The Fraud”

by Ted Davis

Original Air Date: January 12, 1969

Directed by: Robert Day

Synopsis: The Cosa Nostra open a new business front selling fraudulent and stolen fine art which could reap millions of dollars of profit per annum, funding a multitude of illegal and destructive operations, but they’ve reckoned without the capable intervention of impeccably tailored F.B.I. Inspector Lewis Erskine (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.) and his straight arrow associate, Special Agent Tom Colby (William Reynolds).

Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): As Inspector Erskine and Agent Colby conduct the surveillance of her expensive home, Ruth (Ellen Weston), the wife of Cosa Nostra member David Miles (Roger Perry), approaches George, her cuddly white kitten, who is performing his playful routine on the front lawn.
