Synopsis: Detective Kenichi Takabe (Koji Yakusho) tries to unravel the unsettling connection between an amnesiac drifter (Masato Hagiwara) and a string of senseless murders in which seemingly innocent people kill those around them for no reason.
Purr Blurs: While investigating in a junkyard where the drifter was living, Takabe stumbles upon numerous animals in small cages. Two cats are included in the sad menagerie.
Final Mewsings: Cats know the only cure for animal abuse is to prevent it in the first place.
