Synopsis: In this involving if unspectacular British B-movie two youths, Mike (Malcolm Gerard) and Tony (Michael Davis), accidentally cause the death of a man whose secrets are inadvertently brought to light.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After the accident Mike and Tony find they’ve run into a cul-de-sac of mews houses where they desperately try to hide the man they’ve knocked unconscious. A courting couple returning home from an evening out cause the boys to hide beside a wall as they watch the pair say their good nights. During this a tortoiseshell cat jumps onto to some nearby dustbins behind which they’ve stashed the body.

As the couple talk the cat cries out causing Mike and Tony to press themselves further into the shadows.

The courting man is clearly hoping the evening isn’t over yet as he becomes too aggressive with the poor woman. Luckily the cat jumps down from the bins, dislodging the lid of one which crashes to the ground, and interrupts the man’s advances long enough to allow the woman to make her excuses and go inside.

Final Mewsings: Cats are happy to help women escape the arms of a persistant man.
