Synopsis: A ponderous giallo in which a group of annoying people are invited to a castle by a woman named Marialè (Evelyn Stewart aka Ida Galli) against the wishes of her seemingly domineering husband Paolo (Luigi Pistilli) and to the dismay of said guests who end up dying in gruesome ways.

Kitty Cameo: Late in the film a young man named Massimo (Ivan Rassimov), who holds particular interest in Marialè, bends down to pick up a small brown tabby cat which has not been seen before this.

After happily holding the cat a moment, Massimo drops the poor animal who slinks off in resentment. Massimo explains his actions by indicating there was blood on the cat.

They notice the kitty has left a trail of bloody footprints in his wake and the people present in the room start to follow the trail.
