Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Greg Focker (Ben Stiller) is finally engaged to Pam Byrnes (Teri Polo) and has the blessing of Pam’s parents, Jack (Robert DeNiro) and Dina (Blythe Danner). But to plan the wedding Pam’s parents must now meet Greg’s parents, Bernie (Dustin Hoffman) and Rozalin (Barbra Streisand) and Greg is worried that his liberal-minded parents might clash with Pam’s more conservative parents, destroying their hopes for happiness together.
Cinema Cat: Mr. Jinx is back for this sequel, as was head trainer Dawn Barkan. While Mr. Jinx isn’t featured as much as in the first film, his scenes are still memorable, especially when we learn that Jack has now trained Mr. Jinx to actually flush the toilet.
This comes in handy when Mr. Jinx meets the Focker’s tiny dog Moses, and proceeds to flush him down the Byrne’s motor home commode. Moses gets his revenge in a later scene in which he has his way with Mr. Jinx.
Final Mewsings: Don’t mess with a cat who knows how to flush!
