Original Title: Hotaru no haka

Synopsis: A boy named Seita (voiced by Tsutomu Tatsumi) and his little sister Setsuko (voiced by Ayano Shiraishi) find themselves struggling to survive after their home is firebombed towards the end of World War II.
Cartoon Cat and Purr Blur: Near the beginning of the film, Seita and Setsuko are preparing to head for an air raid shelter when the firebombing begins. A nearby calico cat runs for cover as the surrounding buildings erupt into flames.
Final Mewsings: War is bad for cats, children and everyone.
