Think Before You Pink (1969)

by Linda Kay

Directed by: Gerry Chiniquy

Synopsis: Why didn’t the Pink Panther cross the road? Answer is, he can’t! But he sure is trying every method imaginable to traverse across a busy thoroughfare in this animated short film.

Cartoon Cats: After trying everything to get across the busy road, including following the crazy traffic signals, shooting himself from a cannon and trying to build a wooden bridge, a large brown cat appears leading three kittens.

The four of them saunter across the road as the traffic stops for them.

On the other side the large cat waits for the kittens to pass then reveals himself to be the Pink Panther in disguise. Too bad he doesn’t see the falling grand piano moments later.
