by Ted Davis
Original Air Date: September 14, 1971
Directed by: Richard A. Colla
Synopsis: A made for TV movie featuring wheelchair bound Robert T. Ironside (Raymond Burr), special consultant for the San Francisco PD, and Father Samuel ‘Sarge’ Cavanaugh (George Kennedy), current priest and former police detective, who join forces, sort of, to catch the unbalanced killer whose idea of a good time is to shoot Catholic priests.
Purr Blur: A meowing dark grey cat attempts to join the simmering conversation between Sarge and prime suspect Vincent Wiertel (Anthony Zerbe), but is ignored by both men. The scene appears to have been filmed at an actual home, and the cat might have been asking why these two strangers are invading his shady front porch retreat.

Final Mewsings: Cat meow translation: “Get the heck out of my chair, Sarge!!!”
