Synopsis: A slice-of-thug-life drama set in Rome follow criminals Scintillone (Jean-Claude Brialy) and Ruggeretto (Laurent Terzieff) as they interact with prostitutes, fences and other criminals.

Cat Burglars (Scene Stealers): In one scene the pair end up at the home of another tough named Achille (Tomas Milian). While there, Ruggeretto comes across a beautiful young woman named Laura (Mylène Demongeot) who claims to be Achille’s sister. After donning a fancy dress, Laura calls to two longhair tabby kittens and starts cuddling with them on the floor.

Ruggeretto joins her and pets one of the kittens, the other having run away.

Laura continues to play with the one patient kitten as Ruggeretto shows more than a passing interest in her.

Final Mewsings: Italian directors know a thing or two about beautiful women and kittens.
