Synopsis: Officer Frank Murphy (Roy Scheider) is flying patrol helicopters for the police department in Los Angeles when he is recruited by the government to possibly pilot a state-of-the-art helicopter named Blue Thunder.

Kitty Cameo: Frank has a girlfriend named Kate (Candy Clark) and in one scene he spends the day with her and her son.  Returning to her home, Kate is seen in the kitchen cooking dinner.  A cat with tabby and white markings is eating some food on the counter.

The cat follows Kate around the kitchen as she walks back and forth.

At one point she shooes the cat away, calling him Tiger.

Kate realizes Frank is not in the living room and goes looking for him, leaving Tiger in the background.  Tiger is not seen again.

Final Mewsings: Cats have built in “whisper mode”.
