Synopsis: Bored housewife Roberta Glass (Rosanna Arquette) finds adventure when she follows a mysterious woman named Susan (Madonna) and accidentally becomes embroiled in the woman’s life.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): When a guy named Dez (Aidan Quinn) finds himself taking care of Roberta (aka Susan at this point), he lets her stay in his loft apartment. In one scene they sit on the roof and eat some Chinese take out. The opening of the shot is of a gray tabby cat with its head inside one of the cartons, eating.
Later, inside the loft, the cat is seen licking the glass of Dez’s aquarium.
Dez sees the cat and gets up from where is he resting on the floor. As he picks the cat up he sees Roberta changing her clothes through the aquarium.
Dez drops down, still holding the cat, and pretends to sleep as Roberta comes over to him. She nudges his shoulder and also pets the cat.
Closer to the end of the film, Dez is seen sitting in a hammock on the roof with the tabby cat on his stomach.
Final Mewsings: Cats are desperately seeking sushi!
