Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: New York veterinarian Scarlet (Kristi Murdock) and son Milo (Pono Say) travel to Vermont to visit her father (Michael Swan) for Christmas where she falls in love with both the area and a handsome doctor named Josh (Jonathan Stoddard).
Kitty Cameos: A ginger tabby cat is shown under the opening title.
Scarlet is working at her veterinarian office at the beginning of the film where she is looking at a Siamese cat.
In the waiting room she is talking to her assistant David (Teeshay) as a woman is picking up her pet ginger tabby cat who is wearing a sweater.
In Vermont, Milo and his grandfather are looking through old family photos, including one of his mom as a little girl with her pet cat Josie. The grandfather explains to Milo how Scarlet used to decorate their tree with kitty toys and kitty treats and by morning all the gifts would be gone.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Once Scarlet has decided to stay in Vermont she brings home a large box for Milo which contains an adorable ginger kitten. Outside she kisses Josh for the first time and the kitten meows from the box. Inside Milo opens the present and is thrilled with the kitty.
After announcing she plans to stay, the grandfather suggests Milo show the kitten around their new home.
The kitten is seen once more, held by David in the final montage.
Reality Cats: During the end credits the cast and crew are seen with their pets and animals from the movie. Several cats are included.
Final Mewsings: Have yourself a furry little Christmas!
