Synopsis: James Bond (Roger Moore) is on the trail of a crazed industralist named Max Zorin (Christopher Walken), first in Paris and then in the San Francisco Bay Area where the man plans to destroy Silicon Valley.

Featured Feline: While in the Bay Area Bond looks up the woman to whom Zorin has written a large check. He sneaks into the house of Stacey Sutton (Tanya Roberts) and is startled by a spring-loaded cat on the stairs, a Himalayan.

During a fight in the home in which James and Stacey try to defeat a group of thugs, the cat is seen sitting in a planter out of the way.

After the fight Stacey is picking up the pieces of a broken urn with the cat beside her.

She picks up the cat and invites James into the kitchen, saying she has to feed him. James asks, “What are you serving? Whiskas?”

The cat is seen eating from a plate beside a water bowl marked “Pussy” and then exits through a cat door.

After the scene in which James and Stacey talk over a quiche, Pussy returns through the cat door.

Pussy is next seen the next morning in James’ lap. A small earthquake hits and the cat runs under the bed.

Pussy is again present during a meeting between James, Stacey and Chuck Lee (David Yip).

Finally at the end of the film, Q sends a robot into Stacey’s home through the cat door looking for the missing James. Pussy is seen sitting to one side and runs away when he sees the machine.
