Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: Jimmy Olsen (Jack Larson) notices strange goings-on in an apartment he’s staying in temporarily.
Kitty Cameo: After going into the basement and being knocked out, Jimmy is brought to in the apartment by a neighbor named Frank (Frank Ferguson) and Superman. While they talk about the strange noises and things Jimmy has heard, Frank goes next door and then comes back carrying a small mottled gray cat (possibly a tortoiseshell).
Frank introduces the cat to Jimmy as Timothy and explains what a good mouser he is. Jimmy pets the cat and says hello.
After calming Jimmy’s fears and making sure his head injury is not too serious, Superman assures him everything is okay and flies out the window.
Frank then also leaves, taking Timothy with him. Timothy is not seen again.
Final Mewsings: Cats are not so quick to disbelieve their friends.
