Synopsis: Composer Antonio Salieri (F. Murray Abraham) recounts his history as the rival and eventual nemesis of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (Tom Hulce).
Purr Blurs: At the beginning of the film Salieri is crying out from his chambers. His valet (Vincent Schiavelli) is running up the stairs to see what is happening. At the top of the stairs is an attendant (Brian Pettifer) waiting with a tray of pastries and cream. Beside him is an orange tabby cat which the attendant has been petting.
The cat remains in the hallway as the men hurry to the other room.
Later in the film Mozart is stumbling home after staying out all night playing his new music for the vaudevillian actors and actresses. A black cat runs across his path and behind the wheels of a neaby carriage.
Final Mewsings: Cats are quick to warm up to attendants with pastries and cream.
