Kitty Cameo: At one point Nick and Nora go to an apartment building to check one suspect. They are greeted by Mrs. Dolley (Marjorie Main), the building’s landlady. The couple are pretending not to know one another and Nora asks to see a single room. Mrs. Dolley takes her into a room and declares it’s the best room in the house. We then see a window with a big hole broken out of it and a cat sitting on the windowsill.
When the cat sees Asta, the Charles’ terrier, it arches its back and yowls. Asta is so flustered he runs around in circles.
