Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: The Three Stooges are trying to drum up new business as exterminators and release a variety of vermin in a posh house then have to do their jobs during a party without being detected.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): Throughout the short film Curly is carrying around what is supposed to be a bagful of cats, one of the weapons in the trio’s exterminating arsenal. Whenever he carries the bag over his shoulder the head of a tabby cat is protruding from a hole.
The cat’s head is seen in many scenes.
Kitty Carnage Warning! At one point Larry suggests they hide the bagful of cats inside an upright piano. Of course a famous pianist starts to perform and the cats yowl part of The Blue Danube. When the startled pianist opens the lid of the piano, several cats are literally thrown out of the instrument (presumably by someone inside).
Moe tells Larry to get the cats out of the piano and he opens the lids to crawl in as more cats are thrown out.
Final Mewsings: It’s hard to upstage The Three Stooges!
