April Fool’s Day (1986)

by Linda Kay

Directed by: Fred Walton

Synopsis: Muffy St. John (Deborah Foreman) invites a group of college friends to her family’s island home where murder runs rampant . . . or does it?

Purr Blur: In one scene, Skip (Griffin O’Neal) enters a dark boathouse and is nervously walking around with his knife when a Spring Loaded Cat leaps onto him. The scene is so dark it’s impossible to tell if a real or a fake cat was catapulted at the actor.

Final Mewsings: Spring Loaded Cats aren’t joking around.
