Synopsis: A vaudeville couple, Joe and June Tyme (Jack Carson and Ann Sheridan), find their act is outdated and no longer selling. But when their son Buster (Robert Ellis) joins them on stage they find success, until difficulty sends Joe Tyme into an alcoholic tailspin, threatening both the act and the family.
Purr Blur: June and Buster end up with a replacement for Joe but when they are traveling through San Francisco Buster jumps off the train to visit his father, concerned that the new man is trying to come between his mother and father. Buster makes his way to a flop house in the city and as he approaches the building a cat can be seen crossing the street near him.
The cat stops and pokes its head into an overturned garbage can as Buster stands looking up at the building.
Final Mewsings: One man’s garbage is another cat’s dinner.
