Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains a spoiler for this film!
Synopsis: Frank (John Candy) is a fired cop who teams up with a former defense lawyer named Norman (Eugene Levy) to work as security guards, only to find corruption all around them.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): The film opens with Frank driving in his police patrol car. A little girl (Melanie Gaffin) waves him down, crying that her kitten Fluffy is stuck in a very tall tree.
Frank tries to convince her that the kitten will come down in a day or two, but when she continues to cry he starts to climb the tree. The kitten watches as he slowly ascends.
Eventually Frank reaches the kitten and awkwardly reaches out to grab him.
It is then Frank realizes just how high he is and he clings to the kitten and the tree as the fire department has to come rescue him.
Final Mewsings: Kittens don’t know the meaning of the word fear!
Many thanks to Mark Murton for letting us know about the kitten in this film.
