Starring: Mickey Daniels, Florence Lee
Directed by: Robert F. McGowan
Synopsis: Mickey (Mickey Daniels) is frustrated with his mother foisting fancy clothes and dance lessons on him, but he can always count on his Grandma (Florence Lee) to let him be himself.
Kitty Cameo: After playing ball and boxing practice, Grandma sits down with Mickey to read him a western thriller. As the bloodcurdling tale unfolds, a little black kitten approaches them.
The kitten becomes infatuated with the draw string on the retractable window shade nearby.
Of course the shade ends up shooting upwards, scaring Mickey and Grandma.
Final Mewsings: Kittens, window shades and scary stories don’t mix.
