Synopsis: An updated version of the British comedy film. Elliot (Brendan Fraser) is a loser who gets a chance at love when the Devil (Elizabeth Hurley) offers him seven wishes in exchange for his soul.

Purr Blur: At one point the Devil takes Elliot to the bedroom of the girl he loves. As they enter the room, a white Persian cat is lying on the bed. The Devil hisses at the cat who gets up and moves away quickly.

Final Mewsings: Cats don’t want to be associated with remakes.
