Directed by: Vincente Minnelli

Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!

Synopsis: Ella Peterson (Judy Holliday) is an answering service operator who just can’t resist stepping in to help the clients whose calls she receives.

Kitty Cameos: Ella’s boss, Sue (Jean Stapleton), complains that because of Ella they are losing a client. Ella explains that she happened to know that Miss Number 63 had a female Siamese cat she wanted to breed and that Mister Number 78 had a male Siamese and she connected the two, and they became a couple. Sure enough at the end of the film when all of the clients pour into the answering service office to thank Ella for her help, the couple are included as well as their amorous felines.
