Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains some spoilers for this film!
Synopsis: Ashley (Olivia DeJonge) is a teenage girl who is babysitting twelve-year-old Luke (Levi Miller) when they are suddenly threatened by someone breaking into the house. Only things aren’t exactly as they seem.
Kitty Cameo: At the beginning of the film Ashley is driving down a snowy street. She is talking on her cell phone while trying to untangle earphone cords. She suddenly reacts and slams on the brakes, barely missing a black cat that, naturally, crosses her path.
Later in the film the cat reappears at the feet of Ashley’s ex-boyfriend who is sitting outside the home. He is startled by the cat and tells it to get out of there.
Moments later the teenaged boy is killed as the cat watches.
Final Mewsings: Cats don’t interfere when it comes to murder sprees.
