Original Air Date: September 24, 2009
Starring: Emily Deschanel, David Boreanaz
Directed by: Alex Chapple
Synopsis: When the body of a diamond courier is found with his briefcase stolen, Dr. ‘Bones’ Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) have to solve the James Bond-style murder.
Cat Cattle Call: The body of the courier is left rotting on the top floor of a parking garage for two days before the agents are called in. As a result the corpse is covered with scavenging cats having a feast.
Bones shooes the cats away and animal control workers are on hand collecting the cats so their feces can be searched for clues.
At the sight of the cats eating the body, Booth exclaims, “This is exactly why I hate cats! Right there!”
At the end of the scene the cats are seen sitting off to one side. Booth asks why the cats are staring at them and the cats are all seen licking their lips.
Final Mewsings: Hey, a meal’s a meal!
