Also Starring: Dexter
Directed by: Tim Southam
Synopsis: The team investigate the murder of a psychology professor whose body parts have been thrown in waste receptacles in various locations.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): While searching the professor’s garage for clues, Jack (T.J. Thyne) and Wendell (Michael Grant Terry) hear a noise from a cupboard. Jack opens it to find a dirty and hungry orange tabby cat.
Jack sees the cat’s name is Skinner from his collar and decides to take him back to the lab for the time being.
Skinner is seen in Jack’s lab throughout the episode in a cage in the background.
The veteran cat actor playing the part of Skinner is named Dexter and he has an adorable way of reaching his paw through the cage wires, often trying to get at the lizards and other animals in the cages around his.
It turns out that Skinner has a pivotal part in helping to solve the crime, as they deduce that someone was trying to poison him and that leads to the killer.
Final Mewsings: Skinner should have been made a permanent part of the team!
