Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains a MAJOR spoiler for this episode!
Synopsis: Denny Crane’s (William Shatner) behavior causes more trouble for the firm while Denise (Julie Bowen) and Brad (Mark Valley) work around the confines of the law to find a kidnapped boy.
Cat Burglar (Scene Stealer): After learning that the kidnapper regularly visits a priest, Denise and Brad approach the man with a fake search warrant, hoping to convince him to share information. Father Michael Ryan (Richard Fancy) comes down the stairs carrying a shorthaired gray cat.
Denise and Brad insist on searching Father Ryan’s office but the man adamantly refuses, citing the sacredness of confessions being private.
When Father Ryan sets down the cat and walks to his office, they think he is going to let them inside. But the priest locks the door. Denise gets desperate and grabs a fire axe, handing it to Brad and whispering to him to threaten to chop open the priceless imported office door. Brad gets a bit carried away and swings the axe just as Father Ryan lifts his hand, leading to three severed fingers. As everyone stands screaming, the cat grabs one of the fingers and runs away.
Final Mewsings: Cats love finger food!
