Cat Out of the Bag Alert! This review contains spoilers for this episode!
Synopsis: The Romans return to Britannia with conquering on their minds and the Druids are taken by surprise at their vicious attack.
Kitty Cameo: After Cait (Eleanor Worthington-Cox) escapes the Roman attack with outcast Divis (Nikolaj Lie Kaas), they find her grandfather murdered in his cottage. Cait cradles a large long-haired tabby cat (we would guess it is a Norwegian Forest Cat) in her arms as Divis deals with the old man’s body.
Divis tells Cait he is leaving and she is on her own. Believing she has somehow brought this disaster upon them, she holds the cat tighter.
Divis then relents and says he will take Cait as far as the river. “But the cat stays here!” he insists. She lets the cat go and follows Divis.
Final Mewsings: Don’t follow men who tell you to leave the cat behind.
